Percussion Caps 11
CCI® Magnum #11 Percussion Caps are fabricated from a non-corrosive, non-mercuric compound mix and assembled in individual, ribbed, copper caps for standard revolvers, rifles and muzzleloaders. These ribbed caps match standard #11 nipple sizes and provide both clean burning and extremely reliable ignition.
These Magnum Percussion Caps are continuously being tested and improved. As a result, today’s Percussion Caps are more sensitive, easier to seat and more compatible with progressive and automated loading equipment than ever before. CCI’s™ Magnum #11 Percussion Caps are packed in traditional 100 count tins and can be ordered in 100 to 5000 count.
**Do not exceed the loads displayed in the loading guide. Never mix any two powders regardless of type, brand, or source. Never substitute any smokeless powder for Black Powder or any Black Powder substitute.

- Standard #11: Used for most traditional muzzleloading rifles and single-shot side-lock arms.
- Magnum #11M: Extra-hot compound mix designed to reliably ignite stubborn replica black powders or powder pellets.
- #10 vs #11: According to a consensus on the blackpowder Reddit community, #10 caps are generally preferred for cap-and-ball revolvers while #11 caps fit rifles. They have similar inner diameters, but #10s are slightly longer for a tighter grip on smaller revolver nipples.
